DFSK Seres 3: The Future is Electric

Regal Automobile’s DFSK is making waves with its announcement to introduce the Seres 3 by mid-October 23. This model, priced at Rs. 11.8 million for the Completely Built-Up (CBU) model, promises an impressive range of over 400 km, thanks to its 49.34 kWh battery.

The powertrain is impressive, boasting an electric motor that churns out 160 hp and 300 Nm of torque. For the tech-savvy and safety-conscious, the Seres 3 doesn’t disappoint. It’s packed with advanced features like lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and autonomous emergency braking. And for those looking for a more budget-friendly option, DFSK plans to introduce a locally assembled version by March 2024, priced at a competitive Rs. 9.6 million.

MG’s Electric Offerings: ZS EV & MG 4

MG is also making its entry into Pakistan’s EV market with two new vehicles, the ZS EV and the MG 4.

The ZS EV is available in two variants: Essence and Long Range, priced at Rs. 12,990,000 and Rs. 14,999,000, respectively. While MG has kept the feature list under wraps, the ZS EV doesn’t shy away from performance. The MG 4, on the other hand, is available in two variants as well: Excite and Essence. With prices set at Rs. 10,999,000 and Rs. 12,990,000, the MG 4 offers ranges of 350 km and 450 km, respectively.

Both these come with a tentative delivery time of four months and a booking amount of Rs. 5 million, solidifying their position as premium contenders in Pakistan’s EV market.
