OnePlus 10 Pro Review
The OnePlus 10 Pro is one of the best and most powerful Android set with good-looking screen, fast charging and potent internals. It is cost friendly as compared to other Pro phones, making it an incredibly tempting choice. However, the camera experience has few hardware and software problems that might dissuade passionate photographers.
OnePlus 10 Pro Price & Availability
OnePlus 10 Pro price in Pakistan is Rs169,999 with 8 GB RAM / 128 GB internal storage variant which is available in three colour range of Volcanic Black, Emerald Forest and Panda White. There is another size configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage which is available in UK and not available in every country and of course it is more expensive but still cheaper than Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Oppo Find X5 Pro.
OnePlus 10 Pro Design
The OnePlus 10 Pro has a distinct design with dimensions of 163 x 73.9 x 8.6mm which is big in size and a weight of 201g. The camera module being durable and eye-catching has three camera lense in the bump and one LED light. There is a USB-C port with the power button being on the right edge and a volume rocker on the left edge and on that there is an alert slider so you can easily jump between silent, vibrate or ringing modes for notifications, but there is no 3.5mm headphone jack. The coating at the back is of Gorilla Glass that ensures it doesn’t pick up smudges. There is no IP rating for the phone means we don’t know how much it is water or dust resistant. Overall, phone is very nice o hold.
OnePlus 10 Pro Display
The OnePlus 10 Pro is big in size having 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 3216 x 1440, or 2K, and it comes with a high brightness of 1,300 nits, overall being a bright and beautiful display phone. The OnePlus 10 Pro also uses second-generation LTPO technology having refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz, depending on the content which reduces battery drainage. If you really need your top-end display features, the phone also supports a billion colors and HDR10+.You would love watching movies and playing games on it. It’s also having the option of an always-on display, which is great but drains down the battery.
OnePlus 10 Pro Cameras
OnePlus 10 Pro is the best camera phone the company has ever produced. With a 48MP main camera, there is tough competition with phones like the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Pixel 6 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The 50MP ultra wide camera can provide a 150-degree field of view, or 100 degrees with extremely insignificant edge contortion. Overall OnePlus 10 Pro takes great photos but it is not for professional photographers. Using the triplet camera of 48MP f/1.8 main, 50MP f/2.2 ultra wide and 8MP f/2.4 telephoto (for 3.3x optical zoom), it generally has satisfying performance but photography experience is not that great.
Sticking to main camera has better experience. Photographs are splendid and brilliant, with normal looking profundity for close-up snaps and a lot of detail for more extensive ones. It appears to be that the AI scene improvement is knocking up the immersion a little enough to make pictures look unnatural.
OnePlus 10 Pro Performance & Specs
OnePlus 10 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 system-on-chip, the most powerful processor available to Android phones. Paired with 8GB of RAM or more depending on the model you opt for, it’s hard to find something that slows it down. However, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 does have one catch, it overheats quickly. Charging, taking photos, watching videos and gaming can cause the phone to heat up to certain extents and you will face this issue sooner or later.
OnePlus 10 Pro Software
The OnePlus 10 Pro runs Android 12, with the company’s extravagant Oxygen OS 12. The ColorOS is almost identical to Oppo’s ColorOS because of the merger of companies. OnePlus has its own font, own wallpapers and some options for the always-on display to give it a OnePlus ‘feel’. The quick-settings menu, homepage design tools and entire personalizations menu are basically identical to those of X5 Pro. OnePlus has introduced new apps like Zen Mode, which basically puts your phone on airplane mode to help you concentrate, HyperBoost Gaming to optimize your phone’s processing power and also apps for the OnePlus Store and Community forums.
OnePlus 10 Pro Battery & Charging
The OnePlus 10 Pro has 5,000mAh battery here that lasts about a day on a full charge, but we couldn’t expect the device to last much longer than that with bright screen, the 120Hz refresh rate, an always-on display, the powerful processor and constant 5G connectivity. The phone box comes with a charger in it, with 80W charging that gets you from empty to full in about half an hour which is quite nice and fast. Wireless powering is at 50W, which is also very fast. There’s also reverse power-sharing, so you can use the OnePlus 10 Pro as a powering pad to charge up other devices.
