Pakistani participants at ADIPEC 2024 vow to lure FDI in country
Pakistani companies participating in ADIPEC 2024 in Abu Dhabi during their interaction with stakeholders on the second day of the event vowed to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) in the country.
Under the Pakistan pavilion, prominent Pakistani companies—including PSO, PRL, PPL, MPCL, OGDCL, and PARCO—held various B2B meetings with potential partners, stakeholders, and suppliers.
On November 5th, ADIPEC 2024 concluded its second day, bringing together global leaders in energy, technology, and finance to explore pathways toward a sustainable energy future.
These interactions aimed to benefit their organizations by forging strategic alliances and expanding their market reach. Additionally, the active engagement of these companies at the Pakistan booth underscored their commitment to attracting FDI into the country, highlighting Pakistan’s potential as a key player in the global energy sector.
By showcasing their capabilities and exploring collaborative opportunities, these companies playing a crucial role in promoting Pakistan’s energy initiatives on an international stage.
The event facilitated discussions and collaborations focused on advancing cleaner technologies, enhancing energy security, and fostering financial innovation to support the energy transition.
The Petroleum Institute of Pakistan (PIP) has organized and spearheaded this participation, reflecting Pakistan’s growing role in the global energy landscape. As a vital body in Pakistan’s energy sector, PIP represents 23 companies and over 550 individual members.
ADIPEC is the world’s largest and most inclusive gathering for the energy industry, which is taking place from 4-7 November 2024 in Abu Dhabi. The Pakistani pavilion is holding Stand No: 9450 during the event.
