A WAPDA spokesperson says that the country’s largest dam, Tarbela Dam, has completely filled up to the point where the water level has reached the extreme limit of 1,550 feet.
According to the reports issued by the WAPDA spokesperson on Saturday August 20, there is 58 lakh 27 thousand acre feet of water in Tarbela Dam. While the inflow of water in Mangala is 26 thousand 700 and the outflow is 10 thousand cusecs.
The WAPDA spokesperson also said that the flow of water in Chashma Barrage is 3 lakh 86 thousand cusecs. On the other hand, the inflow of water at Head Marala in the Chenab river is 76 thousand 100 cusecs and the outflow is 54 thousand 300 cusecs.
As of today’s latest report, the flow of water in the Kabul River at Nowshera is 69,400 cusecs. The total water storage in Tarbela, Mangala Dam and Chashma Barrage is 88.3 thousand acre feet.
