SHPL Appoints Azam Jamil as Country Head for Pakistan
Siddiqi Hospitality (Pvt.) Limited welcomes Azam Jamil as Country Head as part of its mission to develop Pakistani tourism and national identity.

Junaid and Zubair Siddiqi, co-founders of SHPL, stated in a joint statement, “This milestone heralds a new chapter in the tourist business.” “Azam has forty years of expertise in the hotel, tourism, and management industries. We want to remodel and enhance Pakistan’s image abroad and usher in a new era for Pakistani tourism, guided by Azam’s vision and leadership.”
Azam Jamil is an experienced and energetic professional. As Operating Officer of the Hashoo Education Division, Corporate Director for Sales & Marketing at Serena Hotels South & Central Asia, and subsequently as Corporate Director for Training & Development, he has excelled. Azam is the first Asian to be elected to the Board of Best Western in Colorado, United States of America. In Pakistan, he was responsible for the creation and implementation of two hospitality schools of the highest calibre under the banners Hashoo and Akhuwat. Prior to his appointment as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Tourism Coordination, Azam served as Advisor Senior Consultant for organisations like Franklin Covey Pakistan, Senior Consultant for TEVTA Punjab, Jaffar Brothers, and a number of other multinational corporations.
SHPL was established by the Siddiqi brothers in 2020 with the intention of boosting Pakistani tourism by constructing a genuine Nation Brand that promotes Pakistan using a range of media channels and inclusive initiatives.
